The route contains longer, less steep climbs then usually found in the Ardennes, even containing a few hairpins bends. Climbs include the TintesMuhle, Steenrich (without the final part) and the Alscheid climb, with it's many hairpin bends. Options for a coffee stop in the beautiful towns Clerveaux or Kautenbach. The final slightly longer climb is the climb to Asselborn, right after Clerveaux.

Luxembourg Vianden route

Before reaching Vianden, the route contains several climbs across the German border. The longer climbs are: TintesMuhle (km 28), Mont St. Nicholas (km 56), Alcheid (km 88), with it's many hairpin bends, Weltzerstrooss (km 97) and Miesbierg (km 102).

The waterfalls of Coo

A scenic route past the waterfalls of Coo. Starting off with a very long flowing decent, after which the Côte de Xhierfomont and the easier side of the Rosier need to be climbed. After a coffe break in Coo, the Côte d'Aisomont awaits, followed by an optional loop to climb the steep Wanneranval. The final climb of the day is the Côte de Neuville from Vielsalm.
